NAOMI JOBSON

Sculptor  b.1973

Naomi finds her inspiration in the mountains and woods around her Carlow studio. She models in wax, clay and metal. She has fabricated some large public sculptures in sheet metals also combined with stone and wood. She also designs and creates nature inspired installations in plaster with clients for their homes.

Her work evolves from realistic beginnings to more abstract forms. She is excited by the growth of nature and transferring this energy into her work to give it its tactile appeal and strength of presence. Her love for nature inspires her but she is also very aware of how fragile nature is becoming.

Naomi has commissions in the UK, Canada and Ireland in public, corporate and private collections.
