Naomi finds her inspiration in the hills and woods around her Carlow studio. She models in wax and clay and enjoys working in her foundry. She has fabricated some large public sculptures in sheet metals also combined with stone and wood. She works extensively with architects in stucco and moulded forms of plaster work.
Her work evolves from realistic beginnings to more abstract forms. She is excited by the growth of nature and transferring this energy into her work to give it its tactile appeal and strength of presence.
Naomi has public commissions in the U.K. and Ireland, her work is in many corporate and private collections.
